Also known as chair massage is based on Amma, a traditional Japanese Massage. It works specifically on acupressure points on the neck, shoulders, back, arms and hands. It acts on muscular, nervous and circulatory systems in the body to improve the flow of energy, relaxing tense muscles and increasing the circulation of blood and lymph.
The therapist will use their hands, knuckles and elbows during the massage.
It is performed on a seated massage chair, and the client remains fully clothed. Treatment times can be tailored to suit the event or venue, ranging from 10 minutes to 30 minutes.
