Podiatry or Podiatric Medicine is a branch of medicine devoted to the diagnosis and surgical treatment of disorders of the foot, ankle and lower leg.
I am a professional and friendly podiatrists with over 16 years of experience. I am a registered member of the “Health Professions Council” and “The Society of Chiropodists and Podiatrists”
I have completed in excess of 1000 hours of supervised clinical training. I studied at the School of Podiatry in Northampton qualifying in 1998 with a degree in Podiatric medicine. This qualification allows me, among other treatments, to do injection therapy, perform partial or toe nail resection and remove tissue with chemical destruction.
My post graduate training at Warwick University has included several master modules in diabetic medicine. This has lead to my gaining my MChS, Post Graduate Award in diabetes. As a specialised podiatrist I have worked both in the NHS and private practice.
As well as working at the Oxford Street Therapy Centre I provide home visits and am able to work in care homes and hospitals settings.
