Experience:
I have been studying the mechanics of sports since 2018. With a BSc Sport and Exercises Science from Oxford Brookes University I learnt the benefits of physical activity and how science can enhance sport performance. I then went on to do a Master’s in Applied Sport and Exercise Medicine where I studied how link between sports and medicine. This included modules in massage to the anatomy of the body and how it functions in sports. I have a Level 3 Sport Massage qualification where I have learnt how to rehabilitate the body when it has been under sports stress. I am currently undertaking a physiotherapy apprenticeship working alongside the NHS, which I will hopefully qualify in 2026. I am DBS checked and fully Insured in sport massage. I am qualified in Sports trauma management and pitch side first aid with LUBAS MEDICAL. In the past, I have had hands on experience with the University of Nottingham, covering many rugby games that needed assistance in injuries and first aid.
I have had a past background myself in sports, competing in swimming and rowing events. I started swimming at the age of 8 and worked my way to be a regional and school national swimmer. As I got older, I started to row and competed at events such as Henley Women’s regatta. Over my sporting history, I have had many injuries and understand how crucial rehabilitation is. Sports massage is a great way to help reduce the risk of injuries and to keep the body functioning in sports.
