Treatments:
The treatments are carried out in a spacious, quiet and confidential environment. It may be necessary to remove some items of clothing, particularly during the initial assessment (gowns can be provided if you wish). However, during follow-up appointments, you can wear loose, comfortable clothing (not jeans or other bulky clothing) if you prefer.
New patient assessment and treatment - duration: 1h 30 min
During your initial assessment visit, details of the problem causing you pain or discomfort will be taken, and testing will be carried out to identify the root cause of the problem. A medical history will also be taken, so if you are taking any medication please bring the details of this with you. Once the assessment has been completed, if both parties are happy we will proceed with a treatment. In addition, you may be given some suggestions for stretching or muscle strengthening exercises to carry out at home to aid your recovery and help to prevent the same problem from reoccurring.
Follow up appointments - duration: 40 min
The number of follow-up appointments and the amount of time between them will vary from person to person. Typically, most people require a short course of 3 - 5 treatments initially and then attend every 1 - 3 months after that for check-ups.
Fees:
Initial appointment: 1 hour 30 min - £65
Follow-ups: 40 mins - £45 (from 1st April 2022)
Payment may be made by cash or card
