I am a qualified Paediatric Psychotherapist, and the founder of Cherry Blossom Therapy, based in Northamptonshire. I work with children, young people and young adults, offering a warm, creative and relational approach to therapy, both in private practice and in collaboration with other services.
My approach is integrative and attachment-informed, meaning that I draw from a range of therapeutic models to meet each client’s individual needs. These include play and creative therapies, person-centred counselling, trauma recovery-informed practice, and attachment-based approaches. I believe therapy should feel safe, compassionate and empowering, enabling clients to explore their experiences at their own pace.
I am dedicated to working with and supporting children and families who have experienced trauma, abuse, attachment difficulties, and the complexities of fostering and adoption. I also work with anxiety, stress, emotional regulation difficulties and the lasting impact of adverse childhood experiences. My work is underpinned by the understanding that meaningful change develops within safe, trusting relationships.
Alongside my private practice, I bring experience from wider health and social care settings, which has strengthened my understanding of the systems and relationships that shape a child or young person’s world. I am committed to working collaboratively with parents, carers and other professionals where appropriate, ensuring that the individual feels supported both inside and outside of the therapy room.
My practice is grounded in professional ethics, ongoing continuing professional development and a belief in the importance of safe, attuned therapeutic relationships as the foundation for meaningful change.
