James Harper – Foot Health Practitioner, Dip FH (Adv), MCFHP, MAFHP
James Harper is a dedicated and highly qualified Foot Health Practitioner with a passion for helping others live more comfortably and confidently. His journey into the world of foot care began after witnessing first-hand the profound impact that expert, compassionate care can have on a person’s well-being. Inspired to make a difference, James made the decision to retrain in this essential area of healthcare and has never looked back.
James began working and training alongside a close colleague in podiatry, gaining valuable hands-on experience while completing his formal education. He earned his Level 3 qualification in 2022 from the respected Foot Health College, part of the Institute of Podiatrists, and soon after launched his own practice, Advanced Footcare.
His commitment to continued learning quickly led him to achieve a Level 4 qualification in 2023. Later that year, James proudly became the first person in the UK to be awarded a Higher Diploma in Foot Health. This recognition came with the honour of publishing an article in The Podiatrist Journal, highlighting his dedication to advancing industry standards and education.
Now based at the Oxford Street Therapy Centre, James works alongside a team of experienced therapists, offering professional and caring foot health services to clients from all walks of life. His approach is gentle, knowledgeable, and always centred on the individual needs of his clients.
James is currently pursuing an undergraduate degree in CranioSacral Therapy with the Upledger Institute UK, a program that spans two to three years. He has achieved the level of CranioSacral Therapist Level CST 1 and is now available to see clients for treatments. He is also a member of the CranioSacral Society.
With over 40 years of experience in holistic therapies, James holds certifications in Master-level Hypnotherapy, Massage, Sports Massage, Reiki level 2, and Healing.
James is qualified in Earwax Micro-suctioning having trained at UkMicrosuction in 2025.
James believes that “every day is a school day,” and he continues to blend modern clinical knowledge with a holistic, person-centred approach. His passion for foot health and dedication to lifelong learning are evident in every treatment he provides.
